Natural Nurturing is a private outpatient therapy office located in the greater Los Angeles area serving the communities in the Santa Clarita Valley including Valencia, Santa Clarita, Saugus, Canyon Country, Newhall and Stevenson Ranch.
Our job at Natural Nurturing is to facilitate your healing by helping to relieve chronic areas of tension and injury to restore you to optimal health and mobility. Whether you have sustained an injury, suffer from chronic pain, or are recovering from an illness, or want to prevent injury or illness, I believe I can help you. Your treatment plan will be personalized to help relieve your pain through the John F. Barnes style of Myofascial Release (MFR) and/or Lymphatic Drainage therapy..
I believe that our health should not be treated as a luxury and taking part in regularly scheduled bodywork can play a huge part in how healthy we can be and how youthful we will remain with each passing year.
~Nancy McPeters, CMT, MMP
Nancy McPeters, the owner/operator of Natural Nurturing, completed her massage therapy certification in 2011 through Charter College, where she received an education in many massage modalities suited for working in either Chiropractic/Physical Therapy offices or spas. Choosing a different route, Nancy immediately continued her education by taking an advanced course in Lymphatic Drainage Massage at Hands on Healing Institute. Then through LMT Success Group Nancy completed another advanced course, Medical Massage Practitioner, which taught her how to work within the parameters of prescription based massage and insurance. This Medical Massage Practitioner class prompted an interest in Myofascial Release. Nancy found numerous John Barnes style Myofascial Release classes at Hands On Healing, and back to class she went. Nancy is so excited about Myofascial Release that she has taken numerous hours (over 100 hours and counting!) in Myofascial Release.
Nancy's love of learning has futher sparked a desire to further her education through the local community college. She attained an Associate Degree in Biological and Physical Science in 2015 and another Associate Degree in Kinesiology in 2017.
Nancy also understands the importance of good nutrition as an essential component to the health and wellness paradigm and has obtained a certificate in Plant Based Nutrtion through e-Cornell university.
